| All work is done at a location of your choice where you or your children can easily and freely express yourselves makes for spontaneity and candid photos. It might be playing at the beach, stream or at your house. Props are not always needed during the photo shoot, but it's a good idea to have a favourite toy on hand just in case. I won’t be pressuring you or your children into posing or smiling. My aim is to catch them being themselves and capture them being the person you know them to be. A photography session lasts between 1 to 3 hours depending on the overall package chosen. This can be a mixture of inside studio portraits (I carry a portable studio which is set up in your home) and natural outdoor photographs. It may take a little time for your child to warm up to us, so don't get discouraged if your child seems unwilling to get his or her picture taken.
Clothing Avoid patterns logos and bright colours, especially yellow or green, as these colours affect skin colour. For multiple subjects, it’s best to coordinate their clothing. Bare feet works well and can be a comforting factor for small children.. Parents also need to wear something nice just in case you have an impromptu photo.
Collages: A collage is a custom made photograph containing 9 or more prints cropped together in a square format to make one final print. Also available are more random collages made from unlimited number of photographs you select and is then printed to a size of your choice. These custom photographs start from as little as $10 for a 6” x 8” print. |
